Rajaram has 40 years of rich experience in Managing Large business units and Plants in Automotive Industry. He was in leadership role for the last 25 years. His last assignment was Plant Director, Gestamp Automotive Chennai Pvt Ltd, India, part of Gestamp Group a Spanish MNC. He has rich experience in all areas of Business viz.Business Development, Marketing, Product development, Design, Operations, Quality and Change Management. He embedded World Class practices in Safety, Quality in the Plants and businesses he managed. Under his leadership Gestamp Automotive Chennai obtained Ford Q1 certification and Renault Nissan ASES B ranking and was adjudged as Best Supporting Supplier by Renault Nissan.
He championed Profitability improvement, Safety and Productivity improvement initiatives at Wheels India Ltd, a TVS Group.
He has served the Board of TPM Club of India, Governing Council of Aluminium Association of India, Cost sub-committee of CII TN Chapter, Manufacturing Sub-committee of Madras Chamber of Commerce and Board of Sairam Engineering College, Chennai.

He holds MBA as well as post graduation in marketing management. His special interest in Sales management, people management and key accounts management. He was well recognized by the managements with regular awards for achievements in Sales and Marketing activities.
